TIM LAWSON (Producer) Tim performed in various
musical productions including Aida, Iolanthe
and The Italian Girl In Algiers for the Victorian
State Opera Company, Me and My Girl, Grease,
Mack And Mabel, How To Succeed In Business
Without Really Trying and The Phantom Of The
Opera. As Executive Producer and General Manager,
credits include the new Australian Production of
Sweet Charity starring Kelley Abbey, Fiddler on
the Roof starring Topol at the Regent Theatre in
Melbourne, the Australasian tours of the London
Productions of Buddy – The Musical, Jolson,
Spirit of the Dance, Oh! What A Night, the
world premiere of the Australian play Weary – The
Life of Sir Edward Dunlop and the all-star
production of Shout! The Musical which has also
been released into cinemas. Tim’s parental comedy
entitled It’s A Dad Thing! continues to tour each
year throughout Australia and internationally. Tim also
produced The Short and Girly Show starring
Australia’s elite comediennes, the Australian premiere
of Brave Men Run In Our Family and Fiddler on
the Roof starring Topol which was seen by 500,000
people in Australia and New Zealand. Tim continues to
present the jaw dropping sensation Le Grand Cirque
which has twice broken box office records of the Sydney
Opera House and continues to tour theatres and arenas in
Australia and worldwide each year. In 2009 Tim produced
a new production of the Broadway musical Jekyll and
Hyde starring Brad Little which has toured Korea and
Taiwan. In 2010, Tim produced a production of The
Rocky Horror Show for Seoul, Korea, and a tour of
New Zealand including Auckland, Christchurch and
Wellington (starring Richard O'Brien), and Singapore.
